At Squeegee Squad Tulsa, we recognize the Native American community is the First American community. We are a Native owned company so we take that honor very seriously.

Our story

Our connection to Native communities isn’t a marketing angle, it’s personal.

Within our family, heritage runs deep. Shane Brinkley is a documented citizen of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. Melissa carries Choctaw heritage as well, though undocumented. Our ancestor, Elizabeth Brownhouse, was Cherokee, tying us to the strength and resilience of the Cherokee Nation.

What began as business relationships within Native communities quickly became something much more meaningful.

At first, we were simply focused on doing great work, building partnerships, serving clients well, and operating with excellence. But the more time we spent working alongside Native-owned businesses and tribal organizations, the more we experienced something different: a deep sense of family, trust, and shared values.

The way Native communities operate with relationship at the center, integrity as a foundation, and legacy in mind, changed us.

What started as business became advocacy.

We saw firsthand how powerful it is when Native businesses support other Native businesses. We witnessed the pride in preserving culture while building modern enterprises. And we felt the responsibility to use our platform to amplify, support, and stand alongside Native entrepreneurs and leaders.

Today, our Native American Focus isn’t just about commerce. It’s about community. It’s about honoring heritage. And it’s about building partnerships rooted in respect, transparency, and long-term impact.

This is more than work to us.

It’s family.

Native American Clients

“My dream is to be an advocate for small businesses and for everyday Americans who want their voices heard. As an election official in Washington County, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful local involvement is. Real change doesn’t start at the national level, it starts in our communities. When people understand the voting process, when they’re educated and confident, they show up. And when they show up, things change.”

– Melissa Brinkley - Owner/CEO

“Culture is built by the people you surround yourself with. In Oklahoma, our roots are Native and European alike, and that blend is part of who we are. At the end of the day, our employees are our tribe. We succeed together, we grow together, and we protect what we’re building together.”
